A YouTuber has been stripped of their whole channel of 190,000 subscribers after posting gameplay footage from the new horror game Hellraiser: Revival. YouTube issued a permanent ban despite the creator having blurred out nudity in the video. The creator said the decision wiped out a decade of content.

The ban looks linked to the game's extreme gore rather than nudity alone. Hellraiser: Revival has been noticed for graphic violence that goes further than what YouTube's content policies tolerate, even when creators make an effort to clean up the video before uploading.
