Ticketmaster's president has admitted to "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, sparking new backlash over the company's reliability. A separate report used the incident to highlight the risk that comes with placing all trust in one ticketing service.

The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was blindsided by the fees Ticketmaster stacked above her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, introduced a new tool called TourIQ, a predictive pricing tool aimed at live event sellers, presenting itself as a competitor at a time when confidence in Ticketmaster is taking hits.
